Appointments
All services are provided by appointment only. A confirmed booking is required to reserve your time.
Deposits & Payments
A deposit may be required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward your service. Any remaining balance is due at the time of your visit.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in loss of deposit.
No-shows will result in loss of deposit.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time. Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may result in a shortened service or cancellation, as appointment times are reserved especially for you.
Health & Skin Disclosure
For your safety, please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, pregnancy, or recent cosmetic procedures before your service. This helps us customize treatments and avoid adverse reactions.
Results & Reactions
Every skin type is unique. While we strive for the best results, outcomes vary. Temporary redness or sensitivity can occur and is normal with some treatments.
Age Requirement
Clients must be 19 years or older. Clients under 19 need the consent and signature of a parent or legal guardian.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to modify or refuse services for health, safety, or compliance reasons.
Non-Medical Services
All treatments are non-medical cosmetic services and do not replace medical or dermatological care.
Personal Belongings
Please keep valuables with you. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Privacy Policy

Skin & Scalp Atelier (Alisa Bretz Atelier Operations LLC) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, book an appointment, or receive services, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number when you book, contact us, or sign up for updates.
Booking and payment details — the services you choose, appointment dates, notes, and gift-certificate purchases. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
Health and skin information — information you share on your intake and consent form or during your consultation, such as medical conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, skin history, recent treatments, and, only with your separate consent, treatment photographs.
Messages — what you send us through our contact form, email, text, or social media.
Website usage data — information such as pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and similar tools, including the Meta Pixel when it is in use.
How we use your information
To schedule, confirm, and manage your appointments and send reminders.
To provide your treatments safely and appropriately.
To answer your questions and requests.
To send news, offers, and promotions by email and text message, when you have agreed to receive them.
To measure and improve our website and advertising.
To keep business records and meet legal, insurance, and licensing obligations.
Your health information
Health and skin information is used only to assess whether a treatment is suitable for you and to provide it safely. Access is limited to Alisa and anyone working directly on your care. We never use health information for advertising, never share it with advertising partners such as Meta, and do not disclose it to anyone else unless you ask us to or the law requires it. Records are kept securely for as long as legal, licensing, and insurance requirements call for, then securely destroyed. Skin & Scalp Atelier provides non-medical cosmetic services. Please do not send health details through our website contact form — we will discuss them privately during your consultation.
Email and text messages
With your consent, we may contact you by email and text message about appointments, offers, and promotions. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails, by replying STOP to a text, or by contacting us. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Appointment reminders may continue while you have upcoming bookings. We do not sell or rent your contact information, and we do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers we work with
We use trusted providers that process information on our behalf, only to run our business:
Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace company) — online booking, appointment reminders, intake forms, and gift certificates.
Square — payment processing.
Web3Forms — delivers messages sent through our website contact form to our inbox.
Email and text-messaging services — sending reminders and, with your consent, promotions.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — the Meta Pixel, when in use, helps us measure and improve our ads. Meta may collect information such as the pages you visit on our website. You can manage how Meta uses this information in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings and through your browser’s cookie settings.
Our website host — operating and securing this website.
These providers handle your information under their own privacy policies and security practices. We do not sell your personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you promotions, at any time by contacting us. Some records may need to be kept for legal, licensing, or insurance reasons.
Children
Services for clients under 19 require the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting access and using reputable providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
